About AltWheels
AltWheels is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to build a "Sustainable Transportation and Energy Vision for the 21st Century." AltWheels started in 2003 with a large public festival held at the Larz Anderson Museum of Transportation in Brookline, MA.
The festival was held there for three consecutive years.
In 2006, we transitioned to Boston City Hall Plaza
for the next two years. In 2007, the AltWheels
public festival had over 25,000 participants.
AltWheels fulfills its mission by showcasing vehicle and fuel technologies, educating passenger and fleet consumers on best practices, promoting real choices that exist in the marketplace, and stimulating the demand for choices that will improve our health, air quality, and survival.

This year's AltWheels Fleet Day, Presented by Samsara, will be held in person on Monday, October 3rd at the Four Points by Sheraton in Norwood, MA. With its overarching focus on clean, alternative fuels, vehicles, and technology - encompassing propane, natural gas, and biofuels - AltWheels stands out in the crowded space of auto shows and industry events focused solely on electric vehicles. The attached sponsor proposal explains what AltWheels Fleet Day is, how your company can benefit from being involved, and promotes prior Fleet Day highlights and sponsors. Advantages to sponsoring:
Focus on Northeast: highlighting local projects, infrastructure, technology and funding opportunities
Ride and drives to test the latest vehicles/equipment and talk with local fleets who have adopted the technology
Fleet Manager Led Panels: highlighting fleet managers’ experiences with transition
Focus on financing & incentive programs (e.g. DOER)
Range of different solutions: buses, medium-duty, heavy-duty, off-road
Building and fueling infrastructure (e.g. charging)
Address diversity of fleet solutions and bridge fuels (e.g. CNG, Propane, Electrification)
Include the latest technology & solutions (e.g. telematics, driver training)
Visibility in our event promotions (eblasts) to our list of 1600+ past attendees

Sponsorship Contract
“I have attended AltWheels since its inception. Each year I have gained valuable knowledge as to what is going on in the alt fuels industry. Networking is always an important factor in any type of meeting that you attend. At AltWheels there are so many opportunities to meet people from various alt fuel industries - the cost is far outweighed by the contacts and information that you can gather all in one place!”
